She studied New Dance at Dance Vision Institute in San Francisco and at bewegungsart in Freiburg and has continued her research in dance with different teachers including Daniel Lepkoff, Julyen Hamilton, David Zambrano, Ray Chung, Prapto Suryodarmo, Amos Hetz, Minako Seki, Eva Karczag, Nancy Stark-Smith and Steve Paxton. In 2007 Sarah became certified by the School for Body-Mind Centering&lt;sup&gt;®&lt;/sup&gt; as a practitioner, Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist. From 1989 to 2001, Kaseki was the primary dancer in Anzu Furukawa's company Dance Butter Tokio and Verwandlungsamt. She founded the dance company cokaseki with Marc Ates in 1995. Yuko Kaseki/cokaseki creates various projects performed throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico, the U.S., and Japan. These works are based on Butoh and western contemporary dance technique to create concise and precise moving theatre. cokaseki follows the way of desperate existence, exposing tragicomedy in dense time-a space to reveal a kaleidoscope of stories.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;She has worked collaboratively with CAVE (NY), Shinichi Iova-Koga and inkBoat (SF), Antonis Anissegos (Greece/Berlin), Degenerate Art Ensemble (Seattle), Theater Thikwa (Berlin), Tableau Stations/Floor of Sky (INT), and others.
